Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby Filed Libel Case Against Lolit Solis

The ABS-CBN Star Magic talents Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby filed Libel case worth 12 Million against the columnist Lolit Solis and the Entertainment Editor of Pilipino Star Ngayon, Veronica Samio.

The libel case was in connection to the article written by Lolit Solis in her column “Take It, Take It!” in Pilipino Star Ngayon where she stated that she saw Sam and Piolo at Sofitel’s poolside. According to Sam and Piolo’s camp, it was graphically and maliciously written which assailed and insulted their dignity.

Lolit Solis was Seen Inside ABS-CBN Compound

Yesterday, the controversial talent manager and co-host of Startalk Ms. Lolit Solis was spotted inside the ABS-CBN compound.

Employees of the said network were bewildered of her presence on the lobby of ABS-CBN carrying gifts.

According to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Lolit’s agenda was to personally hand out her presents to the staff of the shows where twho of her talents, Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andulong, appear and also to the employees of the accounting department.

Lolit was also interviewed by Cristy Fermin on her radio show with Jobert Sucaldito.

In her interview, she apologized to Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby for whatever troubles her article has caused them but she is still firm with her decision of not retracting her story which involves the two actors.

The story told by Lolit Solis from her column on Pilipino Star Ngayon is now the talk of the town since Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby’s camp made their statements saying that the story was all made up.

In Sam’s interview on The Buzz yesterday, he said that he was at home that time then he went to Essensuals Toni and Guy at Galleria then to Gold’s Gym in Alabang which means he is not the person that Lolit saw at Sofitel’s poolside.

For Lolit, Sam’s message was “Ms. Lolit, you know that I don’t have anything against you ‘cause I don’t know you personally. But what you did was below the belt and you completely fabricated the stories. So I’m demanding for you to retract and publicly apologize, or I will sue.”

Lolit Solis says She was Used in Sam and Piolo Issue for Publicity but will not Retract her Statement

In today’s issue of Pilipino Star ngayon, Lolit Solis reiterates that she will not retract her statement regarding what she saw few days ago at Sofitel’s poolside.

The Startalk host even claim that she was the one being used for Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual’s publicity because of what she saw.

“Bayolente ang reaksyon ng ibang tao. Sinisiraan ko raw sina Sam at Piolo. Ano naman ang mapa­pala ko kung sisiraan ko sila? Nagkadatung ba ako? Sino ba ang umaani ngayon ng libreng pub­licity at pinag-uusapan nang husto? said Lolit Solis to those people claiming that she’s just making up some story.

She also said that some people tried to incorporate MMFF Scam with her credibility which she never denied. According to her, there’s no malice seeing Piolo and Sam at Sofitel’s poolside, it’s just that she was surprised when the two immediately left after hearing her name that left her pondering until now.

Sam Milby’s Camp Denied Lolit Solis’ Story

The Philippine Entertainment Portal make the move to get reactions from Sam Milby’s camp regarding the issue that Lolit Solis saw them (Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby) in Sofitel’s poolside.

Erick Raymundo, Sam’s manager, said that Sam that time was at Essensuals Toni and Guy around 4 p.m. and then he went to a shooting at Alabang. Raymundo also said that Sam’s last visit to Sofitel was August 26 for a corporate show.

According to him, Sam was surprised when he heard the news.

Raymundo even stressed that they have decided since the issue between Sam and Piolo spreads, to avoid going out together to keep away from the issue.

Witnesses Contradicts Lolit Solis’ Story about Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual

A day after the news came out about Lolit Solis seeing two of ABS-CBN’s most promising heartthrobs in a sweet situation at Sofitel, Piolo’s endorser said “it’s not true!”

In the Philippine Entertainment Portal site, they were able to get two separate statements from a staff of Sofitel’s poolside coffee shop and Timex which is Piolo Pascual’s endorser.

According to Treasure Island coffee shop’s staff whose shift is from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., she claimed to have seen neither Piolo nor Sam during her shift which contradicts Lolit Soli’s story.

Also, a statement was sent to PEP from Gemma Pagsibingan, product manager for Timex, a watch brand endorsed by Piolo. According to her, Piolo was at Raymund Isaac’s studio in Makati where he has a timex shoot with Angel and a 20-25 people can prove that Piolo was not in Sofitel but in another location that time.

On the other hand, Lolit Solis still hold on to her story seeing Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby at Sofitel’s poolside.

In an exhibit at Sofitel, formerly called the Westin Philippine Plaza, Startalk host Lolit Solis was invited by a businessman named Erning Lim. And there at the same location, Lolit was able to see the two most promising heartthrobs.

It was unintentional and surprising view for Manay Lolit Solis who lost her way when looking for the right way going to the exhibit. According to her article in Philippine Star Ngayon, She just found herself entering Sofitel’s poolside coffee shop at around four in the afternoon and there she saw two men in a sweet situation, exchanging whispers,and their cheeks nearly touching. It was Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby.

When waiters called her attention, Sam and Piolo immediately left the place.

Until now, Lolit Solis is still pondering on what she saw on the poolside of Sofitel.
